PC Maintenance
Ever had the feeling that your computer isn’t running quite right? Or that it is slowing down? Then our PC Maintenance is the course for you.
Starting on Tuesday 8th May at 10am, the aim of this course is to show you how a PC works and how to look after it. We take you through configuring a PC, look at viruses and keeping it running in tip top condition through regular maintenance.
Cost = Free (£20 deposit which is returned on completion of the course)
Prerequisites = A basic understanding of computers and file management
Length = 6 weeks
Follow on to = Microsoft Office for Beginners, Managing Files
CRT Funding 2012
OMTI is pleased to announce that we have been granted funding of £17277 from Coalfields Regeneration Trust!
The funding is capital money and becomes available in April 2012. It is to replace some of our old computer equipment. This includes 11 new computers, new printers, new scanner and new software.
This will bring our main training room bang up-to-date with the latest equipment and software.

New Course - Introduction to Photoshop Elements
OMTI has added a new course to its catalogue with Introduction to Photoshop Elements.
